One archive, five ways to own it

Two paperback volumes, a numbered Limited Edition Hardback, and collection bundles — signed and unsigned, all self-published directly by Steve Lazarides.

What editions of Banksy Captured are available?

Banksy Captured is published in paperback and hardback across two volumes — self-published directly by Steve Lazarides and distributed by AART.SPACE. Prices are shown in your local currency where available, and orders ship from the UK; international shipping is calculated at checkout.

What is the difference between signed and unsigned?

Production and content are identical. The signed variants carry Steve Lazarides's signature — usually on the title page. Each paperback and the Limited Edition Hardback are available in both forms; current pricing is listed above (pulled live from Shopify) and on each product page.

Steve signs in batches. If the signed variant of a book is unavailable, it usually means the current batch is exhausted and the next signing hasn't been scheduled.

Are the hardcovers numbered?

The Volume 2 Limited Edition Hardback is numbered out of 5,000, with a pink linen slipcase. The number is printed on the interior; once 5,000 copies have shipped, the edition is closed. Paperbacks are not numbered; they are printed in ongoing editions (Vol 1 Second Edition, Vol 2 Third Edition).

How are the books priced and valued?

Every price on this page is the direct retail price, pulled live from our shop above. There are no licensors or middlemen between the print run and the price you pay. Editions close — the Limited Edition Hardback is capped at 5,000, and signed variants depend on when Steve last signed a batch — so availability, not hype, is what moves over time.

What collectors do with the books on the secondary market after that is their own business. We sell at original retail.

What is included in the Complete Collection?

The Complete Collection bundles the unsigned Vol 1 and Vol 2 paperbacks together with the unsigned Limited Edition Hardback — the full set, priced below the sum of the parts.

If you want the signed-everywhere version, that's the Collector's Archive— currently in preparation. For the signed paperbacks on their own, see the Signed Paperback Collection.
