Signed Paperback Collection

What this is: The paperback versions. Same photos as the hardcovers, just in paperback format. There also signed by Steve

What you get:

  • Evidence Volume 1 (paperback, signed)
  • Framed Volume 2 (paperback, signed)

Three books covering 1997-2008. Bristol to global. Street pieces to museum stunts. Steve was there with his camera while Banksy painted.

Why paperbacks exist: Because not everyone needs hardcovers. Steve originally made £20 prints so everyone could own art. Same principle here - the documentation matters, not the binding.

Physical details:

  • Paperback binding
  • Packed properly in cardboard

Price: £135 for both signed by Steve.

Steve's signature doesn't make these more important. They're the same photos either way. But people asked, so he signed these ones.

What they said

I worked with him for 11 glorious years, during which time we broke every rule in the rule book, along with a fair few laws.

Sky News

My love of photography was borne from my love of graffiti…

GraffitiStreet

Reuters — 2026

Independently confirmed the book as a primary source in the investigation.

Daily Mail — 2026

The Guardian

The photographs of Banksy at work, along with shots of some of his street art, are published in a new book by Mr Lazarides — Banksy Captured.

BBC News — 2019

Banksy Captured Vol. 1 is his visual confession: not a coffee-table celebration, but a brilliant memoir told in pictures.

GraffitiStreet

Before the galleries, before the auctions, before the anonymity became a brand, there was Bristol, rain-soaked, raw, and fiercely creative.

GraffitiStreet

If Banksy Captured Vol. 1 was the birth of rebellion, Banksy Captured Vol. 2 is its adolescence, swaggering, ambitious, and slightly hung-over from success.

GraffitiStreet

Lazarides’ prose remains dry, funny, and bruised by hindsight. He writes as a man who didn’t realise he was documenting history until the dust settled.

GraffitiStreet

A book for those who want the truth about a movement, not its myth. Lazarides was there, camera in hand, with only a rough sense of how big it would become.

Goodreads

Unparalleled access to the myth behind the artist.

Grove Gallery

A blue-chip collector’s piece — a historical artefact with lasting significance.

Grove Gallery

An intimate, raw, and often humorous look at the making of a legend.

Grove Gallery

For collectors, this is more than a photobook. It’s a time capsule of contemporary art history, offering an unfiltered look at the making of a legend.
